16 CFR Part 1633 Standard For The Flammability (Open Flame) Of Mattresses Sets Test Machine 

Scope:

Mainly used to evaluate the combustion situation and heat release of a mattress or mattress set when exposed to an ignition source similar to burning bed sheets. 16 CFR 1633 is a federal standard in the United States, and all manufacturers and importers of mattresses and mattress sets must comply with this standard.

Technical parameters:
1. Dimensions of combustion chamber and gas collection hood: length 3048 x width 3658 x height 2438mm;
2. Gas analyzer:
Oxygen concentration: Measurement range: 0~25.0%, accuracy: ± 0.05%;
Carbon dioxide measurement range: 0~6.0%, accuracy: ± 0.1%;
Carbon monoxide measurement range: 0~1.0%, accuracy: ± 0.02%.
3. Burner device: including 1 mattress burner device, 1 sofa burner device, and 1 soft chair burner device each. Complies with the requirements of Section 7 of 16 C.F.R. Part 1633 and Figures 3, 4, 5, and 6 of the section.
4. Exhaust gas treatment device: The burned exhaust gas is treated to meet the direct emission requirements.
5. Gas supply system:
Combustion gas: propane, with a purity of over 95% (to be provided by the user)
